Acting My Age is his 27th release as a solo artist, and continues a tradition of mixing and matching musical styles.  With a distinctly upbeat vibe and laid-back pace, Bing charts a winding path through 10 original tracks that range from 80s synth-pop to Americana swing to purely acoustic expressions, all featuring the mountain dulcimer in a variety of sonic roles.  Native American flute comes along for the ride, too, as do many other wild instruments and sounds.  

These swings are interspersed with instrumentals rooted in traditional music, which then segue into interludes like something out of a scary movie soundtrack.  This all underscores songs about AI, sleepy Florida river towns, bad life choices, and the greatest music festival in the world.  The common thread, on an album entitled Acting My Age, is about living life to its fullest, sometimes a little too close to the edge.

Two of the tracks, "ChatGPT (Been Very Very Good To Me)" and "Going to Winfield" have been introduced to audiences by way of music videos, and the album features new recordings of both tunes.
